Job summary

Embraer is seeking an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician to perform comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul services on commercial aircraft in a high-volume MRO environment, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Requires FAA A&P license and 5+ years in aircraft repair/overhaul; experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, rigging, and interpreting OEM manuals; precision and adherence to lean processes are essential.

Qualifications

Must have High School Diploma or GED.
A&P license (Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant) is required.
5+ years of maintenance/repair experience on aircraft or aircraft components preferred.
Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, rigging, and OEM manuals is desired.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, maintenance, repair, and overhaul on aircraft mechanical systems and components.
Determine repair scheme and parts needed; obtain parts from Stores or supplies.
Repair, rework, and modify assemblies; ensure parts meet standards and tolerances.
Follow FAA-approved procedures and OEM data for maintenance tasks.
Sign off on completed work and document procedures; maintain paperwork and traceability.
Completes tests using specified test equipment and reports results to Maintenance Lead.
