Job summary

Embraer is seeking an Airframe and Powerplant Technician for a high-volume commercial MRO environment. You will perform comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul on aircraft and components to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The role supports tight turnaround schedules and requires precision and adherence to FAA and OEM standards. This position operates on a Friday–Sunday 6:00 am–6:30 pm shift and requires strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, parts selection,

Qualifications

High School or GED required.
Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant license required.
Recommended 1–2 years in repair/maintenance of aircraft or related experience.

Responsibilities

Performs routine inspections or maintenance to prevent failures of aircraft systems.
Determines repair needs and procures required parts.
Repairs, reworks, and modifies worn assemblies as needed.
Follows FAA-approved procedures and OEM data.
Consults Maintenance Lead for technical assistance.
Inspects completed work and performs rework as needed.
Performs serviceability tests on repaired components/systems.
Documents work in the work package and submits for review.
