Job summary

Embraer in Fort Worth is seeking a Contract Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician to perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, and inspections in a high-volume commercial MRO environment. The role ensures aircraft safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance in line with FAA and OEM standards.

The candidate will carry out inspections, determine repair schemes, repair/modify assemblies, follow FAA-approved procedures, and document all work with sign-off.

Qualifications

• Licensure for Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) required.
• 5+ years in repair/maintenance of aircraft preferred.
• Experience interpreting OEM data and work package instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent failures of aircraft systems.
• Determine repair schemes and procure required parts.
• Repair, rework and modify worn assemblies as needed.
• Follow FAA-approved procedures and OEM data for maintenance tasks.
• Consult Maintenance Lead for technical assistance when needed.
• Inspect completed work and perform rework to meet standards and tolerances.
• Document work packages and sign off completed tasks.
• Submit work for quality control and airworthiness re-certification.
