Job summary

Rio Staffing LLC. is seeking a qualified A&P technician to service a high-utilization piston trainer fleet in Georgetown, TX.

The candidate will perform complete airworthiness inspections and proactive maintenance to support FAA compliance and elite training standards. The role requires independent work, a strong safety mindset, and flexibility to cover day or night shifts in a 10-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on piston-powered GA aircraft experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle maintenance and inspections on piston trainer aircraft.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues per FAA mandates and manufacturer data.
• Interpret manuals, SBs, and ADs to ensure compliant repairs.
• Create meticulous logbook entries and maintenance records for each action.
• Maintain a clean, safety-focused hangar and shop environment.
• Coordinate with flight operations to protect training schedules.
• Adjust maintenance priorities as fleet demand shifts.
• Support 24/7 operations by covering day or night shifts.
