Job summary

Embraer is seeking an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician for a high-volume commercial MRO environment. You will perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul on aircraft and components to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift, 4/10 schedules, Sundays-Wednesdays or Wednesdays-Saturdays, with shifts from 6am-4:30pm or 4:00pm-2:30am. FAA/OEM procedures guide daily work and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Airframe & Powerplant license required.
• Knowledge of FAA maintenance procedures and OEM data.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and precision assemblies.
• Determines repair schemes, and sourcing parts from stores or supplies.
• Repairs, reworks, and modifies worn assemblies as needed.
• Follows FAA/OEM procedures and maintains proper documentation.
• Consults Maintenance Lead for technical assistance during repairs.
• Signs off and documents completed work; submits for QC and airworthiness.
• Provides performance data and reports to management.
