Job summary

Thrust Institute of Maintenance (TIM) seeks an Airframe and Powerplant Instructor to join our faculty. You will teach virtually three nights weekly and onsite at Addison, TX on weekends, shaping the next generation of aviation professionals.

Minimum qualifications include 3 years of aviation maintenance experience and an FAA A&P certificate; preferred candidates hold a related bachelor's degree and possess experience with online and blended instruction.

Qualifications

• Three years of proven Aviation Maintenance experience, including General Aviation, Part 121/135/145.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
• Computer literacy and ability to use classroom technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in A&P subjects to students.
• Design, implement, and assess learning activities to meet outcomes.
• Maintain class records, develop curriculum, and participate in campus dialogue.
• Provide office hours, submit grades on time, and support diverse teaching modalities.
