Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced FAA A&P mechanic to maintain Learjet 60 aircraft for a 135 charter operator. Work is performed at your home base among 34 major U.S. airport cities, with travel fully covered.

Expect 8 on/6 off rotations, $60/hr starting, $70/hr for leads, overtime available, and stock options vesting from day one. Requires 6+ years of Part 65.83 experience and strong troubleshooting skills; travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• 6+ years of experience meeting 14 CFR Part 65.83 requirements.
• Experience with Learjet airframes and Pratt & Whitney PW305A engines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft.
• Complete all work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA-accepted or approved data.
• Follow applicable FARs, company procedures (GPM), and the FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program.
• Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings.
• Move aircraft in the hangar and on the ramp, including tow-tractor operation.
• Join weekly maintenance meetings to review project progress and resolve phase inspection, service, and repair issues with the Director of Maintenance.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Expect 10–12 hour days in a fast-paced environment.
