Job summary

StandardAero Augusta seeks an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our Falcon Team. Responsible for inspections, heavy maintenance, repairs, and modifications on Dassault Falcon aircraft to ensure peak performance.

Ideal candidates hold an FAA A&P license, with 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience, and a background in business/corporate aviation or MRO environments. This on-site role offers competitive benefits and team-based growth.

Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license required.
  • Minimum 5 years as Aviation Maintenance Technician.
  • Experience in heavy and light maintenance on airframes; service bulletins.
  • Experience in business/corporate aviation and/or MRO environments.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain Dassault Falcon aircraft (7X, 2000, 900).
  • Disassemble, inspect, and replace components as needed.
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and specifications.
  • Perform inspections, functional checks, and airworthiness determinations.
  • Rig, align, and calibrate aircraft systems and structures.
  • Document work per FAA requirements and sign off.

StandardAero Augusta is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our Falcon Team. Specialize your expertise working on Dassault Falcon aircraft (7X, 2000, 900), performing inspections, heavy maintenance, repairs, and modifications to ensure peak aircraft performance. What you'll do:
  • Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems, using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment.
  • Examine and inspect engines or other components for cracks, breaks or leaks.
  • Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects.
  • Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools.
  • Service and maintain aircraft systems by performing tasks, such as flushing crankcase, cleaning screens, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts, such as wings and fuselage, rigging and hydraulic units.
  • Read and interpret manufacturers and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
  • Run functional and operational checks to ensure airworthiness.
  • Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling and pressurization systems.
  • Utilize mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges and calibration test equipment.
  • Analyzes a variety of mechanical problems and determines the cause and best method of repair.
  • Test and repair engines, engine controls and accessories, propellers and controls, landing gear, hydraulic systems and servicing, and flight controls, and adjusts rigging.
  • Perform repairs, scheduled maintenance, and modifications
  • Reinstall components, perform operational checks, and execute engine runs.
  • Document and sign off work per FAA standards.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as an Aviation Maintenance Technician.
  • Demonstrated technical ability on airframes in the areas of heavy maintenance, light maintenance, and service bulletins.
  • Experience working in Business/Corporate Aviation and/or and MRO environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Characteristics:
  • Prior/current experience as an A&P Mechanic working on Dassault Falcon aircraft.
  • Minimum 7 years of A&P Mechanic experience.
  • OEM/specialized training or certification on Falcon aircraft.
