Job summary

Mustang Aviation in Pierre, SD, is seeking an FAA-certificated Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our maintenance team. A current Inspection Authorization is strongly preferred, though a capable A&P with aviation experience can grow into greater responsibility.

This full-time, hands-on role supports a mixed fleet including King Air, piston, turbine, and Part 135 operations, with Monday–Friday days and a focus on quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required.
• Inspection Authorization preferred but not required for right candidate.
• General aviation maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation and turbine aircraft.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and service airframes, engines, systems, and components.
• Perform aircraft inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manuals.
• Coordinate with maintenance leadership to keep aircraft moving efficiently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logbook entries.
