Job summary

AIM—the Aviation Institute of Maintenance—is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join as instructors in Las Vegas. You will deliver FAA Part 147-aligned training and mentor students preparing for A&P certification in a hands‑on classroom and hangar setting.

No teaching experience is required initially; a 5‑day paid instructor training program helps you transition into the role. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in aviation or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques in a hands-on environment.
• Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification.
• Demonstrate practical skills used by A&P mechanics and aviation technicians.
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership.
• Create a structured, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment.
• Maintain classroom, lab equipment, and training materials.
