Job summary

Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation in Appleton, WI seeks a Maintenance Controller for its SOC. The role leverages your A&P license and strong computer and communication skills to coordinate technical operations and keep aircraft airworthy. You will interface with Dispatch, Flight Operations, and Crew Services, manage MEL/CDL usage, and produce operational reports. Starting pay is $75,000 annually.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Strong computer skills in Windows and Office.
• Strong communication skills (phone, email, in person).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
• Good judgement and ability to work independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and airworthy aircraft are available for scheduled flight operations.
• Direct contingency maintenance activity during flight operations.
• Utilize company and non-company maintenance personnel to provide required services.
• Interface with Dispatch, Flight Operations, and Crew Services to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate and track line maintenance scheduling and workload planning.
• Administer MEL and CDL usage.
• Prepare Special Flight Permits (Maintenance Ferry Flights).
• Create and maintain operational reports.
• Attendance is an essential responsibility.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
