Job summary

PHI Health in London, KY is seeking an A&P-licensed mechanic with 2+ years of Certified Aircraft Mechanic experience to maintain our helicopter fleet. The role emphasizes airframe and powerplant work, with field base maintenance and FAA PHI Health compliance at the forefront.

Night shifts may be required and frequent travel is expected. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for qualified candidates who join our mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Hold FAA A&P certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
• Must be able to pass pre-placement physical, drug screen, and background checks.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work night shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection requirements and perform tasks to maintain airworthiness.
• Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations requiring schedule changes or additional support.
• Maintain aircraft at field bases, manage stock levels, and requisition spares as needed.
• Certify work on aircraft logs and maintenance forms per FAA, manufacturer, and PHI Health standards.
• Enter work packages and status in RAMCO; coordinate with AMBS and Lead Mechanic for timely completion.
• Maintain inventory of parts and calibration of tools as scheduled.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
