Job summary

PHI Health, LLC in Victoria, TX is seeking an A&P-licensed mechanic with 2+ years of certified aircraft experience to support our helicopter fleet. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and the chance to contribute to life-saving air ambulance missions.

You will inspect and repair airframes and powerplants, maintain FAA-compliant records, coordinate with the Lead Mechanic, and be willing to travel to field bases and work night shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Hold an FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic.
• Strong basic communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam and drug/background screens.
• Sheet metal repair/Avionics troubleshooting skills for PHI Roving Maintenance Team.
• Willingness to travel and work night shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection requirements and carry out tasks to maintain airworthiness.
• Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations needing schedule changes or technical assistance.
• Maintain maintenance at field bases, including stock levels and requisitioning spares.
• Ensure safety and security of all company assets at field bases.
• Certify work on aircraft logs and maintenance forms per FAA, manufacturer and PHI Health requirements.
• Comply with RAMCO work packages and status sheets.
