PHI Health is seeking an A&P-licensed aircraft mechanic with 2+ years of experience to work on our helicopters. The role requires maintaining airframes and powerplants, adhering to FAA and PHI Health standards, and working on field bases with potential travel.

The successful candidate will join a life-saving team, work a 5-2 schedule, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic
• Must be able to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity & drug/background screens
• Must be able to travel frequently, sometimes with short notice
• Must be able to work night shifts when maintenance events dictate

Responsabilités

• Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection requirements and carry out tasks to maintain airworthiness
• Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations requiring schedule changes or extra manpower
• Maintain aircraft at field bases and manage stock levels and repairs to ensure aircraft readiness
• Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories and certify work on logs and inspection forms per FAA/PHI Health standards
• Maintain RAMCO entries and coordinate with Lead Mechanic and AMBS for timely job completion
• Maintain parts inventory and ensure calibration of tools as scheduled
• Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned
