Job summary

Metro Aviation, Inc. is seeking an A&P Field-Based Aviation Maintenance Technician (EC145) in Atlanta, Georgia, for the Children's Response program. The role focuses on maintaining helicopters to meet airworthiness standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate, bring at least three years of turbine rotorcraft or airplane experience, and be prepared for on-site work with occasional travel. Sign-on and retention bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a FAA A&P certificate.
• Minimum of three (3) years turbine rotorcraft or airplane experience.
• Inspection Authorization and/or FAR 135 experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft in a safe, airworthy condition per regs and MAI manuals.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with Lead AMT.
• Inspect, modify, repair airframe, rotors, engines per data sources.
• Record all maintenance in aircraft logs and work orders.
• Own each aircraft assigned to the base.
• Maintain Ground Support Equipment and inventory.
