Job summary

Duncan Aviation in Provo, UT is seeking an Airframe Technician to assist with testing, adjusting and repairing airframe systems on business jets. Work performed with limited supervision according to manufacturer specs and Duncan procedures, plus timely documentation per FAA rules.

Essential duties include high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance, minor troubleshooting, and accurate record-keeping using the company work order system. Availability for all shifts is required.

Qualifications

  • Entry level to two years Aircraft/Business Jet maintenance experience preferred.
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • FAA Airframe Maintenance Certificate required.
  • FAA Powerplant Certificate required.
  • Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required; must be available for all shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance on airframes.
  • Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components.
  • Prepare and complete documentation per company policy and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, removal sheets, personal training log, etc.).
  • Demonstrates proficiency of the Duncan Aviation work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements, final inspection and closing of squawks and work orders.
  • Consistently locates and uses appropriate technical data and follows verbal instructions when accomplishing assigned maintenance tasks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent
FAA Airframe Maintenance Certificate
FAA Powerplant Certificate
