Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking an Airframe Technician to inspect, service, and repair airframes on Learjet business jets with limited supervision. The role emphasizes documentation, adherence to FAA directives, and precise use of the work order system.

Multiple levels (I-Lead) with varying experience requirements include FAA Airframe certification; Powerplant is preferred. Benefits include relocation, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) plan with a strong employer match, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe Certificate required (or 1-3 months out from testing).
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; Man Lift qualified.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance on a variety of airframes.
  • Perform minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components.
  • Prepare documents for record keeping per Company policy and FAA regulations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Duncan Aviation work order system by completing discrepancies and corrective actions statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements, final inspection and closing of squawks and work orders.
  • Locates and uses appropriate technical data and follows verbal instructions when accomplishing tasks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
