Responsibilities as an A&P Mechanic (Various Shifts and Locations):

You will perform licensed A&P work, including repairs, maintenance, overhaul, modifications, and troubleshooting on Textron Aviation aircraft at various facilities. Your goal will be to ensure aircraft performance and safety meet the highest standards.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Aircraft Diagnostics & Repairs: Diagnose malfunctions, disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble aircraft systems for flight and delivery.
• Component Maintenance: Repair or replace engine components and accessories such as carburetors, fuel control units, and hydraulic pumps.
• Inspection & Modification: Conduct 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspections, and modify aircraft systems and structures.
• Functional Checks: Perform engine test runs, instrument tests, preventive maintenance, and rigging/synchronizing throttles.
• Technical Reporting: Maintain accurate reports in logs, inspection reports, and parts identification documents.
• Tool Utilization: Use tools like tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and hand tools for repairs and modifications.

Qualifications for Success:

• A high school diploma or GED
• A&P License
• Product knowledge of Cessna, Beechcraft, Hawker aircraft
• Minimum of 2 years experience for Sacramento location
• Minimum of 3 years experience for Newburgh location
• Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, blueprints, specifications, and jet/piston airframe and engine principles

Base pay varies within a range based on experience, qualifications, and location. The estimated pay range is $49.45 - $57.40 per hour.
