Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC, headquartered in Hawthorne, CA, seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P) to inspect, service, and repair our aircraft to meet FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.

You will execute maintenance tasks, document work, and ensure airworthiness while supporting safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives. A&P certification and FAA experience are required, with a flexible schedule and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P Certification is required.
• 3+ years of Aircraft Maintenance Technician experience.
• Strong knowledge of Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to pass FAA background/ drug screening.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and procedures.
• Support Safety Management System and ASAP by reporting hazards and contributing to corrective actions.
• Ensure work is documented and complies with FARs and manuals.
• Verify parts are approved and airworthy; tag discrepancies clearly.
• Assist in cost-effective labor/material accounting for each job.
• Maintain tools and workspace in a clean, organized manner.
• Collaborate with maintenance leadership on safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
