Job summary

Air Transport International in Austin is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic (A&P) to perform overhaul, maintenance and repair of airframe components and related systems in full compliance with FAA and company procedures.

The role requires a valid Airframe and Powerplant license, ability to read manuals, and the stamina to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs. DOT/FAA pre-employment screening and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen required.
• Background check required (DOT/FAA).
• Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a) required.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components and related equipment per manuals and directives.
• Sign for work accomplished as required.
• Maintain constant alert for defective or worn parts and safe working conditions.
• Perform housekeeping duties related to workspace and company property.
• Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor or higher management.
• Comply with RII provisions and report to Director of Quality Control.
• Attend all company training classes as assigned.
