Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required or able to qualify at AMT level or higher.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance, component repair, or related aviation field.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and repair supplier obligations.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within sourcing and repair processes.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and maintain high service standards.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop work scopes and coordinate repairs with OEMs and third-party repair suppliers for expendable, recoverable, rotable, and repairable components.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, lead AMTs, AMTs, planners, CDMG, CCC personnel, and repair vendors to meet compliance and airworthiness requirements.
• Perform receiving inspections on repaired/overhauled components to determine serviceability before stocking.
• Coordinate components sent to external repair agencies, including initiating repair orders and processing non-stock items.
• Resolve issues and update existing purchase orders; communicate with suppliers and verify repair quotations and invoices.
• Perform general visual inspections and sign off on work documents, including FAA Form 8130-3 tags as authorized.
• Comply with drug-testing requirements associated with this safety-sensitive function.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (HPW, LEAN, Six Sigma, 5S) and MRO insourcing efforts.
• Contribute to business unit strategies and repair supplier contracts; monitor Tech Ops goals.
