Job summary

Air Transport Services Group is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Tulsa, OK to support the Manager of Inspection. Responsibilities include inspecting shop areas, coordinating inspections, and documenting repairs and compliance per FAA and OAI standards.

The role requires an A&P certificate, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass background/drug tests. Flexibility for extended shifts and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A&P Certificate.
• Test negative on FAA pre-employment drug test.
• Must pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain awareness of company interests.
• Inspect all shop areas as directed.
• Coordinate with Manager of Inspection on inspection progress and status.
• Perform inspection tasks as directed by the Manager of Inspection or Directors.
• Inspect incoming components or materials as needed.
• Document major repairs and alterations on FAA Form 337 as required.
• Complete Service Difficulty Reports per 14 CFR 121.703 and forward to the Manager of Reliability.
• Document corrosion per GMM requirements and forward reports.
• Complete MM-025 or MM-088 checklist at end of vendor checks.
• Oversee Outsourced Maintenance Providers during inspections and maintenance events.
• Attend OAI training classes as assigned.
• Separate CPCP, SSI, and SID information from check packages and distribute as applicable.
• Initiate and sign paperwork, review for completeness, release aircraft for service per OAI manuals.
• Perform audits of OAI paperwork and external/internal audits as per CASS/MRP Manual.
• Audit completed paperwork during A and C checks.
• Supervise aircraft weigh operations and balance calculations as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager of Inspection or higher.
