Job summary

AAR is seeking an Aircraft Quality Control Inspector in Oklahoma City to determine airworthiness of work performed and inspect aircraft, engines, components and materials. You will record results and ensure continued airworthiness in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities include processing daily material, interfacing with suppliers to disposition rejects, and ensuring overhauls and repairs meet manuals and FAA rules.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe rating required; FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings preferred (two ratings).
• 3 years inspector experience with fixed wing transport aircraft (e.g., Boeing 737, ERJ 175, Airbus).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or four years related experience or training, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements.
• Interface with suppliers and product line to disposition rejects.
• Ensure all overhauls, checks and repairs are carried out per procedures and FAA regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
