L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance C - A&P Mechanic at Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ. The role involves scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across aircraft systems, including engines, airframe, and flight controls.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (A&P license).
• Ability to complete/pass a required DCMA physical exam and CRC course prior to OCONUS deployment.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Valid US Passport.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance on all systems: turbine engine, propeller, airframe, flight controls, and rigging.
• Launches and recovers aircraft and conducts inspections to ensure airframe and engine serviceability.
• Adjusts, aligns, and calibrates aircraft components; performs functional checks on fuel, hydraulic, engines, avionics, and environmental systems.
• Carry out inspections per OEM procedures and troubleshoot discrepancies using technical data.
• Researches and requisitions aircraft parts; prepares parts for supply; initiates deficiency reports as needed.
• Maintain tools and perform safety and housekeeping duties; document maintenance actions.
