Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and related systems at our Houston hangar.

The successful candidate will hold an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, have prior A&P or airline experience, and be able to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals while documenting work and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Experience as an A&P mechanic or airline experience.
• Must pass FAA background checks and random drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, modifications on aircraft and components.
• Troubleshoot aircraft systems and execute work orders.
• Verify calibration of tools and ensure parts are serviceable and properly documented.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and complete maintenance records.
