Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to ensure safe, timely maintenance of our helicopter fleet. Qualified candidates have an A&P license, two years of turbine helicopter experience, and a high school diploma or GED.

You will inspect, repair, and document maintenance while coordinating with the Lead Technician and other teams. The role requires flexible scheduling, FAA knowledge, and compliance with drug-testing programs.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience required.
• Valid A&P license and high school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license and FAA knowledge required.
• FAR Part 135 knowledge and EMS/maintenance systems experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including overtime/on-call.
• Must pass FAA drug and alcohol testing program; lift 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections and repairs, reporting status to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory, update tracking logs, place replacement requests and document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information; comply with policies and information security.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate across departments, vendors and team members to coordinate efforts.
• Collaborate with allied health, public safety personnel and operations staff.
