Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician 2 in St. Louis to perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of key aircraft systems. This role requires a valid A&P license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of aviation maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform required maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems.
• Coordinate with inspection to ensure FAA inspection and documentation requirements are met.
• Properly complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and tag customer property and equipment; store components securely.
• Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
• Operate and oversee use of special equipment for removal and installation of major components.
• Coordinate with other departments for overhauls or repairs as needed.
• Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to keep work areas clean.
