Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an AMT Team Lead A&P for Appleton on a full-time 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:00 PM–1:30 AM) with overtime as needed. You will plan and coordinate aircraft maintenance, provide direction to technicians, and ensure compliance with FAA requirements and quality standards.

Requirements include an A&P license, 8 years of aviation maintenance experience, and a High School Diploma or GED, plus valid driver's license. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8 years aviation maintenance experience including avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical.
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure required maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
• Lead the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components of the aircraft.
• Coordinate with inspection to ensure FAA compliance and documentation.
• Ensure completion of work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and paperwork.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Tag and store customer property safely.
• Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
• Oversee use of equipment during removal and installation of major components.
• Coordinate with other departments for overhaul or repair as needed.
• Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to keep shops clean.
• Maintain knowledge of FAA regulations and company procedures.
