Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in St. Louis is seeking an AMT Team Lead A&P for second shift. Requires 8 years of aviation maintenance experience (including Gulfstream work) and an FAA A&P license.

You will plan and coordinate maintenance, repair, and modification of key aircraft components and provide work direction to technicians. Compensation ranges from $42.42 to $55.68 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and a total rewards program including tuition assistance and wellness

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical) to include 2 years of relevant Gulfstream aircraft experience.
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required. Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of mechanical and functional components of the aircraft.
• Coordinate with inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
• Ensure completion of work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.
• Properly identify (tag) customer property and equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
• Operate and oversee use of special support equipment used in removal and installations of major components.
• Coordinate movement of aircraft, as required.
