Job summary

ITT Aerospace Controls LLC in Valencia, CA, is seeking a Service Technician I to join our FAA Part 145 Repair Station team. You will disassemble, inspect, repair, and test a wide range of aircraft accessories and subassemblies, documenting actions and labor hours in company records.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of electro-mechanical aircraft accessory experience, read technical manuals, and be willing to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of electro-mechanical aircraft accessories repair experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and specifications.
• Basic computer skills including Word/Excel and related software.
• Must be able to work overtime and complete FAA/DOT drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, assemble, overhaul, and test aircraft accessories and subassemblies.
• Follow CMMs, drawings, schematics, and approved data to ensure compliance.
• Use hand tools, measuring devices, ESD equipment, and test gear for quality control.
• Document maintenance findings, actions, and labor hours in records and work orders.
• Coordinate with QA and test personnel to route products through inspection.
• Maintain familiarity with tools and inspection aids in the work area.
