Job summary

The Structures Company in Los Angeles, CA seeks qualified A&P mechanics (FAA) for long-term contract roles. Perform preventative maintenance, inspect aircraft systems, read wiring diagrams, and maintain records. Must hold FAA A&P license and meet ITAR U.S. person requirements.

Candidates should have at least one year line maintenance experience, ability to lift 70+ pounds, and pass drug screen. Familiarity with multiple aircraft types welcomed; English communication required.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current FAA A&P license with no infractions.
• One year of line maintenance experience.
• Experience on at least two aircraft types (A319/A320/A321, B737/B767/B777, or E190 preferred).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Ability to lift/hold objects weighing 70+ pounds.
• Ability to work in environments with noise and vibration.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and alterations per specs and safety standards.
• Inspects engines, landing gear, instruments, and air-conditioning systems.
• Maintains records and signs flight releases.
• Repairs sheet metal or composites and reads blueprints/diagrams.
• Tows and parks aircraft; uses power tools as required.
