Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced A-Level Machinist capable of taking complex jobs from blueprint to final inspection with minimal oversight from the Shop Foreman. This role is ideal for a machinist who thrives on precision, takes pride in craftsmanship, and enjoys mentoring others in a collaborative shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hold formal machining certification
• Perform complex setups and precision machining on manual and CNC equipment such as Lathe and Mill
• Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, CAD files, and technical drawings
• Select tools, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for optimal efficiency and quality
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections
• Troubleshoot issues independently and recommend process improvements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on machining experience (manual and/or CNC)
• Mastery of blueprint reading
• Strong knowledge of materials, tolerances, and machining best practices
• Ability to work independently on tight-tolerance parts
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
