Job summary

Napleton Hyundai of Hazelwood is hiring an Automotive A-Level Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to factory standards. The role emphasizes building customer trust through accurate diagnostics and quality repairs in a busy, growing shop.

We offer top-flat-rate hours, extensive training, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k. Relocation and certification support are available to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an A Level Technician.
• Willingness to undergo a background check per local laws.
• 18 years of age or older for driving policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications including brake, hydraulic, exhaust and electrical systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff.
• Update skills through formal training to keep up with new automotive tech.
• Maintain an organized, neat service bay and inform management of repair issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.


• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.


• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.


• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.


• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an A Level Technician required.


• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven


• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations


• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
