Job summary

Grandview School District is hiring a paraprofessional for A.H. Smith Elementary in a temporary role through November 16, 2026. Salary ranges from $19.25 to $25.27 per hour, depending on experience.

The paraprofessional will support supervision and instruction under a certified teacher in a classroom setting. The position requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, and there is a path to state credential via AA degree, college credits, or the paraeducator assessment. Location is A.H.

What You'll be Doing:

• Assisting in the supervision and instruction of students

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
