Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare supports you in a locum tenens lifestyle, with dedicated consultant assistance. This assignment places you in an inpatient acute psychiatric unit, Monday through Friday 8 am–4:30 pm, with one weekend per month.

You will see 16–18 patients per shift and work with disorders including anxiety, affective, and personality disorders. Involuntary commitments and restraint application experience are required; ECT experience is preferred.

• Experience with involuntary commitments and restraint application.
• ECT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient acute psychiatric unit.
• Manage 16–18 patients per shift.
• Provide pharmacotherapy and seclusion therapy as needed.
