Job summary

Lumbee Holdings is seeking an A&E Handling / Storage, Transportation Lead to oversee daily operations for Ammunition and Explosives handling across SWFPAC/MCSFBN. The role requires coordinating qualified personnel, managing transport schedules, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a high-safety environment.

The position is based at Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor, WA, with occasional travel to ranges throughout Washington. A Secret clearance and CDL with Hazmat preferred are desired qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in A&E storage, handling, or transport.
• Valid CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience.
• Secret security clearance required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily A&E handling/storage/transport operations, ensuring compliance with NAVSEA OP 5, NAVSUP P-724 and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate staffing: schedule qualified personnel and vehicles for on- and off-station transports to ranges across Washington State.
• Maintain OIS/TAMIS records and train staff as OIS DBAs.
• Prepare and deliver required CDRLs and inventories (A009, A010, A012, A013, A014).
• Oversee safety, security, and licensing programs; manage qualification/certification program per OPNAVINST and related orders.
• Travel 10–25% within Washington State to support transports and training evolutions.
