Job summary

Data Management Services, Inc. (dba: DMS International) seeks an Armorer/Site Lead to supervise armory personnel and deliver weapons training for Navy high-risk evolutions at Mayport, FL. You will oversee maintenance, accountability of AA&E, and related training equipment, with travel and leadership responsibilities.

Qualified candidates bring nine+ years of related experience, extensive weapons maintenance, and strong communication skills. U.S. citizenship and driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Nine years or more related experience in armory or similar setting.
• Six years of preventative/corrective weapons maintenance experience, including military crew served weapons.
• Three years’ experience within an ammunition and weapons management environment.
• Knowledge of Navy AT/NSF and Expeditionary Warfare programs and courses.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DoD and Navy directives related to AT/NSF and small arms training.
• Familiarity with AEL and Resource Requirements List for AT/NSF training.
• Basic marksmanship knowledge and small arms operation/maintenance.
• Understanding of Navy AT/NSF mission and related regulatory requirements.
• Experience with training systems acquisition and contracting practices.
• Ability to prepare statements of work and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform maintenance of weapons and related equipment at the learning site.
• Oversee AE inventory and accountability, including QA/Cert programs.
• Maintain records via computer-based applications and advise leadership on discrepancies.
• Coordinate maintenance and service contracts for facilities and equipment.
• Develop technical correspondence (SOPs, CODRs, PQDRs, EERs, EMRs, SDRs, TMDER).
• Assist in loading, unloading and transport of weapons and ammunition as required.
• Ensure compliance with AE safety and security regulations and licensing.
