Job summary

Dungarvin seeks a Behavior Clinician II for the Adapted Dialectical Behavior Therapy (A-DBT) program. The role focuses on adults with developmental disabilities and complex mental health needs, providing assessment, clinical support, and staff training in a home/community setting.

You will run A-DBT groups, build supportive plans, supervise staff, and collaborate with external providers to promote independence and positive behaviors.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or near completion in psychology, behavior analysis, mental health, special education, social work, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience with individuals with IDD.
• Experience designing and implementing support plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and/or challenging behaviors.
• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload for treatment implementation using DBT therapy.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
• Provide clinical guidance to Direct Support Professionals and Program Supervisors.
• Conduct program visits to interact with staff and support individuals.
• Foster positive rapport with individuals, families, and guardians.
• Review data to ensure care meets individuals' current needs.
• Prepare progress reports and update plans as necessary.
• Assist in on-call support, crisis intervention and outreach as needed.
