Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an A&D Sales Manager based in New York City to cultivate relationships with architects, interior designers and design firms while driving builder, multifamily and commercial project strategies in the NYC/Northern NJ region.

You will manage builder accounts, develop targeted sales programs, and collaborate with product, marketing and operations to meet project requirements. Travel up to 75% is expected in this regional role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience within the building industry, focusing on regional custom home builders, multifamily and commercial projects.
• Strong sales acumen and understanding of the builder segment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with builder partners and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with A&D community as well as National, regional and custom home builders, developers and general contractors within the assigned geography.
• Develop and implement targeted sales strategies and programs to grow market share and achieve revenue goals within the builder, developer and general contractor segments.
• Oversee and manage a portfolio of builder accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential builder partners, developers and general contractors.
