Job summary

Moog Inc. seeks a Director for Defense Division Contracts to lead and shape the contracts across Moog's defense programs.

You will build a partnership-focused, results-driven organization and act as the primary advisor to the Senior Vice President of the Defense Division on contractual matters, reporting onsite or in a hybrid capacity. The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in government contracting, deep FAR/DFARS knowledge, and strong leadership with a track record of developing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years in related fields; CFCM certification preferred.
• 12+ years contract management in government environment; 5+ years in leadership.
• Extensive FAR/DFARS experience; competitive and non-competitive proposals.
• Strong influence, communication and collaboration; ability to develop junior staff.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically; DoD clearance ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Defense Contracts team and define contract strategies.
• Advise on commercial policies and align with Moog's goals.
• Serve as primary advisor to SVP on contract matters across the Defense Division.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARs and related regulations.
• Oversee proposal support and contract performance across programs.
• Manage due diligence for acquisitions and related government registrations.
