Job summary

Education & Training Resources LLC in Memphis seeks an energetic instructor to provide engaging Career Technical Training, administer tests, and evaluate student progress and proficiency.

Develop and prepare lessons, select materials, and tailor resources for students with diverse backgrounds. Manage the classroom, tutor and counsel, and support hands-on activities in the career prep program. A state credential or equivalent certification is required.

Qualifications

• Certified, licensed, or accredited by the State in which the Center is located.
• Experience must meet state or professional trade organization requirements.
• Must possess valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides students with industry-recognized instruction and training.
• Develops and prepares lessons; recommends curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Administers and corrects tests; logs and maintains progress and attendance.
• Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
• Manages the classroom by moving about the room to tutor, coach, evaluate, and assist each student as the need arises.
• Motivates and counsels students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems or study habits.
• Evaluates and supervise students in an on-the-job training experience.
• Participates in providing hands-on activities for students in the career preparation program.
