A leading company is seeking an A/C Refrigeration Mechanic to perform skilled journey-level work in the installation and maintenance of air conditioning systems. The role requires effective problem-solving and hands-on repair skills, with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants should possess a valid Florida driver's license and are encouraged to provide detailed accounts of their relevant experience.

Performs skilled, journey level work in the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of air conditioning equipment. Conducts regular inspections of air conditioning units, makes operating adjustments, lubricates units, and changes filters. Work requires the inspection of malfunctioning units, testing of equipment, diagnosis of problems, repair or replacement of parts, and replacement of refrigerant. Employee works under general supervision, usually alone, and exercises reasonable initiative and independent judgment in scheduling work and in determining action to be taken. Work is reviewed through inspection of work completed, reports from users of equipment, study of work reports, and analysis of operating and maintenance costs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and air conditioning systems; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required.
