Job Summary

Since 1989, Orlando Venues has served as Central Florida’s epicenter of sports and live entertainment, overseeing venues such as the Kia Center, Camping World Stadium, Tinker Field, Harry P. Leu Gardens, Mennello Museum of American Art, and the Public Art program. These venues host high-profile sporting events, concerts, art exhibitions, and educational experiences.

Starting Salary: $20.29 - $25.86

This role involves skilled work in installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of air conditioning equipment across various Orlando Venues. Responsibilities include inspections, adjustments, lubrication, filter changes, diagnosing malfunctions, repairs, and refrigerant replacement. The employee works independently under general supervision, with work reviewed through inspections, reports, and analysis of costs.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's Degree and two (2) years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required.

Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications to proceed with the application. For experience in lieu of a degree: 2 years for an associate degree, 4 years for a bachelor's, 6 years for a master's, and 9 years for a doctoral degree.
