Inteplast Group is seeking a Material Handler C in Lewistown, PA to support the Extrusion Department. The role emphasizes moving raw materials, cardboard, chips, and scrap, with emphasis on safety and adherence to SOPs.

You will interact with pallets and truck operations, perform pre-shift inspections, and ensure accurate material orders for change-overs while maintaining dependable attendance and a willingness to work non-standard hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Become familiar with film, chip and corrugated codes.
• Must show basic familiarity with truck operations.
• Complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as daily PM checklist.
• Know the proper placement of all finished product.
• Basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-overs.
• Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at change-overs.
• Understands pallets A, B, Peco and Chep.
• Follows SOPs, cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Be able to properly complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as complete P.M. checklist daily.
• Know the proper placement of all finished product.
• Basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-over's.
• Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at any change-over's.
• Understands the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets
• Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures

Work Environment Conditions Subjected To In This Position

• Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
