Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Material Handler C to facilitate the movement of raw materials, cardboard, chips and scrap for the Extrusion Department. This role requires attention to safety policies and accurate material handling.

You will follow SOPs, assist with pre-shift checks, and coordinate with pallet and truck operations while maintaining dependable attendance and flexibility for non-standard hours. Join a team focused on safety, efficiency and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Familiarize with film, chip and corrugated codes.
• Basic familiarity with truck operations.
• Complete pre-shift truck inspections and daily PM checks.
• Place finished product correctly.
• Use basic math for material orders during change-overs.
• Weigh scrap gaylords at end of shift or during change-overs.
• Know pallets: A, B, Peco, Chep.
• Follow SOPs, cGMP, food safety and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

Job Responsibilities

• Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Become familiar with film, chip and corrugated codes.
• Must show basic familiarity with truck operations.
• Be able to properly complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as complete P.M. checklist daily.
• Know the proper placement of all finished product.
• Basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-over's.
• Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at any change-over's.
• Understands the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets
• Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures

Work Environment Conditions Subjected To In This Position

• Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
