Responsibilities

Tutors grade 9 students with literacy supports in collaboration with teachers and specialists.
Teaches fundamental reading and literacy skills to small groups.
Develops lesson plans using district resources to meet group needs.
Participates in monthly professional development on literacy instruction.
Collaborates with department chair on instructional planning.
Monitors and documents student progress and maintains records.
Communicates progress with teachers and department staff.
Follows a school-defined schedule, approx. 5 hours per day.
Work is in a standard classroom setting with typical safety requirements.
