Job summary

The City of Crestview in Florida is seeking a Public Safety Dispatcher to answer routine and emergency police and fire calls and to dispatch personnel and equipment as needed.

You will receive and record calls, monitor units, relay messages, and maintain FCIC/NCIC training records, performing related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must understand dispatching principles and procedures.
• Knowledge of city boundaries, public facilities, and fire districts.
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
• Must possess a Florida Operator license.
