Job summary

Laurel Ridge Community College seeks a full-time Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology faculty member to deliver hands-on instruction in electronics, electrical systems, and related technologies to a diverse student population. The instructor will teach foundational concepts and applied skills designed to prepare students for entry-level careers in the electronics industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of current/recent occupational experience in electronics plus a high school diploma.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to present instructional material clearly and accessibly.
• Effective collaboration skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and industry partners.
• Proficiency or interest in gaining proficiency in one of more of the following technical fields: aviation, drones, robotics/automation, artificial intelligence, data science, information technology.
