Job summary

Laurel Ridge Community College seeks a full-time Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology faculty member to deliver hands-on instruction in electronics, electrical systems, and related technologies. You will teach foundational concepts and applied skills to prepare students for entry-level careers in the electronics industry.

The instructor will foster a positive learning environment, support the college mission, and collaborate with industry partners while adhering to VCCS policies.

Qualifications

• Five years of current/recent occupational experience in electronics.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to present instructional material clearly to diverse student populations.
• Collaborative ability with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
• Interest or proficiency in aviation, drones, robotics/automation, AI, data science, IT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on instruction in electronics, electrical systems and related technologies.
• Teach foundational concepts and applied skills for entry-level electronics careers.
