Job summary

The Savvas Learning Company is seeking an onsite Per Diem Educational Consultant specialized in 9-12 Math to partner with districts and schools to implement core content and job-embedded services.

You will provide professional development, coaching, and data-driven support, traveling up to 70% in the Midwest/Mid-Atlantic. The role emphasizes standards-based reform, effective instruction, and collaboration with school leaders to drive classroom improvement.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. degree required; M.A. preferred.
• 5+ years of successful teaching experience in a 9-12 Math setting.
• Experience with classroom-based technology integration.
• Experience with differentiated instruction.
• Strong collaboration and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of standards-based reform, curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Ability to plan strategically with and coach school leaders and classroom teachers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Effectively implement classroom components and resources in the program.
• Differentiate instruction based on student need.
• Effectively manage a Savvas curriculum classroom, technology integration and devices.
• Utilize data and reporting tools to impact instruction and decision making.
• Model coaching conversations to support admin with feedback.
• Coach teachers to apply the program philosophy and pedagogy.
• Observe practices and provide feedback to guide implementation progress.
• Use dashboards to differentiate instruction based on student need.
• Observe strategies and practices and provide feedback to teachers.
• Understand and identify the program philosophy, pedagogy, and organization.
• Provide onsite training and regular communication with school leaders.
